It's been a long one. I've always been chubby. In college I gained a few pounds, in Russia a few more, and once I returned a couple "readjustment pounds" were added. Now that I'm 23, losing weight isn't going to get any easier. Living in Alaska means a lot less motivation and the instinctive nature to want to hibernate and eat lots of comfort food. This blog is about my battle to get healthy. It's not about how many pounds I lose, rather the endurance I will gain and the extra rolls that will disappear. I'm not only doing this for me, but for my future family. I want to be the best mother and wife and teach my kids to be active.
Starting weight: (cringe) 157
Yesterday I went to the gym.
Elliptical 15 min
Running on track 1 mile
Various leg machines 30 reps each
Then the boy and I came home and did Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred level 1
